Medical Device Regulation: Perspectives of a Notified Body

2

Join us for the next in our ongoing series of educational webinars, entitled Medical device regulation – perspectives of a Notified Body, including knowledgeable guest speakers from the British Standards Institution (BSI)

The free to join session (Wednesday 27 March, 12pm - 1pm) will be a great opportunity to learn about the importance of ensuring the certified supply of safe, effective, and innovative medical products against a backdrop of substantial reform to the current regulatory framework.

InnoScot Health, which has a strong record of protecting the interests of NHS Scotland, believes it is crucial for innovators to get the right regulatory advice, support, and signposting, and that understanding the implementation and transition plan for new medical device legislation is a key asset.

The webinar will be introduced and led by InnoScot Health’s Head of Regulatory Affairs, Elaine Gemmell, who will be joined by BSI’s Sales Manager, Medical Devices - UK & Ireland, Damon Williams, and Business Development Manager, Umar Butt

Both BSI speakers will address key topics that affect businesses including legislation, risk, and regulatory changes while fielding questions in the latter part of the session.

The accessible, bitesize ‘lunch & learn’ sessions are hosted on Microsoft Teams, regularly providing a platform for inspiring guest speakers whilst allowing InnoScot Health staff to share their deep knowledge and insights on innovation.
